सर्वांगी सुंदर उटी शेंदुराची।
कंठी झळके माळ मुक्ताफळांची॥
जय देव जय देव जय मंगलमूर्ती।

Meaning in everyday language
The opening praises Ganesha as a giver of joy and remover of sorrow and obstacles. The following images describe vermilion, pearls, sandalwood, a crown and anklets. The refrain celebrates his auspicious presence. The closing voice waits for help in distress and protection at life’s end. These are words of devotional longing, not a guarantee of a particular worldly result.
Understand the context
Read the three stanzas with the refrain repeated after each. The underlying traditional text is in Marathi; the Roman reading aid is not a musical score. This version follows the Anjur Siddhivinayak temple booklet. Families and singers may use small wording or pronunciation variants. You can read or sing without a flame; if using a lamp, place it safely and keep children supervised.
