The Foundation is an independent non-government organisation. Its income and resources are dedicated to its objects. Its registered name is Purnima Lallan Sharma Foundation; PLS Foundation is the short name used on this website.

Non-profit status and donation tax benefits

PLS Foundation does not currently hold 12A/12AA/12AB registration or 80G approval. Donations to the Foundation are not eligible for an 80G tax deduction, and we cannot issue an 80G tax-benefit certificate.

Our Section 8 incorporation, Startup India recognition and NGO Darpan registration do not by themselves make a donation eligible for an income-tax deduction. A donation receipt is not a tax-exemption certificate.

Programmes and plans

We have supported ventures including Pehla EV and Via Glowbal. Small grants and formal incubation are part of our future plans; applications are not currently open. We will share eligibility and application details when these programmes launch.
