COMMUNITY & ANIMAL WELFARE

Compassion for every life

Social work and animal welfare are part of our commitment to a kinder, more caring community.

Care begins with paying attention.

PLS Foundation’s social-work focus includes concern for animals and the people who care for them. We want to bring together individuals who are willing to give time, share experience and help identify useful ways to contribute.

We welcome conversations with volunteers and local groups about community needs and animal-welfare collaboration. Each proposal begins with understanding the need and the support available.

Ways to get involved

Share your time

Tell us where you are based, what you are interested in and the time you could offer for social work.

Bring local knowledge

Community members and local groups can help us understand needs and explore appropriate collaboration.

Contribute experience

People with relevant animal-welfare or community-work experience are welcome to connect with the Foundation.

For animal emergencies

The Foundation’s contact number is for general enquiries. We do not currently operate a 24-hour animal rescue or veterinary emergency service. For an urgent situation, contact an appropriate local veterinary or rescue service.

Working with Swayambhu Pets

PLS Foundation collaborates with Swayambhu Pets on animal welfare in the wider Mumbai region. Learn about the relationship and how to get in touch.
