A founder’s starting point
Pranav Sharma is a founding member and Managing Director of Purnima Lallan Sharma Foundation. He co-founded the Foundation with Alaknanda Chaudhary in Mumbai on 3 September 2021.
Uplifting young people. Contributing to India.
Pranav’s central purpose is to help young people build their capabilities and contribute to India’s development. He wants the Foundation to connect learning with practical opportunity: stronger local enterprises, guidance from experienced people and the confidence to take an independent next step.
Physics, education and an international outlook
Pranav studied physics at the University of Mumbai and the University of Messina in Italy. Alongside this academic background, his work through Via Glowbal focuses on guidance for young people and their education.

Alongside Via Glowbal, he is developing Dr Glowbal, a digital career-guidance initiative. His plans include accessible self-assessment resources and opportunities for students to connect with verified counsellors. These are developing ambitions, shaped by his interest in using technology to make guidance easier to access.
The purpose he brings to PLS Foundation
His vision for the Foundation brings together educational collaboration, sustainable entrepreneurship and compassionate social work. It includes working with schools and colleges, helping young founders find practical guidance and connecting them with people who have industry experience.

Alaknanda’s initiative as a local entrepreneur, her education across diverse fields, and her honesty and willingness to help others remain a personal inspiration for Pranav and the Foundation. Roma, his first pet, is also remembered in its identity: the canine figure in the logo represents loyalty, companionship and care for the people who become part of the Foundation.
